It's a part of life. You can reach your dreams by educating yourself. Most people who are successful read voraciously, at least in their field, and often choose other books to keep themselves sharp. As Cicero said, "A room without a book is like a body without a soul."
My intent is to list some of the better books I have. It will take a while, so be patient! It is my dream to read books and do some writing myself, but often I get distracted like so many others. So I know I do not have time for everything, but in fact, if the book is on my shelf, it is much more likely I will read it at some point.
I hope you can develop your own library and also journal notes on what you read. These will be some of the most treasured possessions of your family when you leave them behind one day.
I like to read too, but mainly I read about things I'm interested in. For example, i like to read about myths, supernatural events, fictional and non-fictional stories, games and other abnormal events...etc. Unfortunately, I dislike reading stuffs that doesn't interest me; at the moment, the last books i would read would be my Chemistry and Biology text book. The reason is becuase I'm studying about cells in Biology and the most unfortunate thing is that I'm studying about cells in Chemistry as well. Personally, I hate to talk about cells because of its complexity and its plain look. So, I've been studying about cells since the first day of school and this is just diving me nuts, may God help me.
ReplyDeleteRecently I've been wanting to read something. Although, so far, I haven't taken the initiative to go and get a book. I think I need to be forced. Luckily, the research paper has given me an opportunity to read. Steven Hawking's book: A Brief History of Time is amazing. I'm actually looking forward to finishing the book and start on my paper. I think that one of my favorite books is A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. It was just such an adventure! Maybe space just appealing to my brain.
